What attracted you to Joules and why did you choose to work for us?
I was originally attracted to Joules because I am from Market Harborough and have watched Joules from the beginning; I wanted to be a part of this great local brand.
Tell us about a typical day…
I rarely have a ‘typical’ day! I am lucky enough to have such a varied role that no day is the same. I could be researching mood and outfitting, styling up mannequins, be on shoot, meeting with the designers and buyers or travelling to some lovely places!
What's the best thing about working at Joules?
The people. I work with some inspirational and truly wonderful folk! I have made some great friends in my seven years here.
What’s been your biggest achievement so far?
I really enjoy being part of the creative journey from concept to print. It is always a feeling of achievement having a catalogue land on my door, seeing the pictures and outfits in the press like Marie Claire and GQ and seeing people in the street in outfits I have styled.
What qualities make someone successful at Joules?
Strong work ethic, fun personality and a sweet tooth!
What do you think makes Joules unique as an employer?
Joules are really investing in their employees, keen to help people progress and are very supportive.
What would your advice be to someone considering joining Joules?
Be prepared to put on a stone!
A bit more about you...
What is your favourite film or book?
This is a tough one! Most recently I watched ‘The Theory Of Everything’ which I thought was really good and I am currently reading ‘The End Of Mr Y’ by Scarlett Thomas.
What’s the best holiday you’ve ever been on?
Montenegro, two years ago with my boyfriend. Such a beautiful place. I recommend it to anyone and everyone!
What’s the best present you’ve ever received?
Probably my cat Harold! I’m sure there are other things I should say however I do love him!
