Working at Joules

  • What attracted you to Joules and why did you choose to work for us?
  • I believed Joules was a small brand and would be a good way for me to get some knowledge and experience in the fashion industry. I didn’t realise how big a brand Joules actually was until I had spent some more time with the company and getting to really know the brand from the inside.
  • Tell us about a typical day…
  • Start the day reviewing email comms to see if there is anything I need to do or be aware of. Look over my “to do” list for the week and prioritise what I need to do for the day and start. This can be from ensuring our stock arrives into the business when it’s supposed to, to reviewing previous/current sales to plan for future season’s ranges.
  • What's the best thing about working at Joules?
  • For me personally, it’s knowing that I am making a difference within a business.
  • What’s been your biggest achievement so far?
  • Planning the SS15 Baby range from start to finish, and seeing it in stores and selling.
  • What qualities make someone successful at Joules?
  • Driven, calm and a little bit out of the box.
  • What do you think makes Joules unique as an employer?
  • As cheesy as it sounds, it’s the family environment. The team I work with is a close bunch who I wouldn’t change. But even from the top level of the business, you’re still treated just the same, people care if there is something wrong and will share in your personal successes.
  • What would your advice be to someone considering joining Joules?
  • Be sure in what you want to do and commit to the decisions you make.

A bit more about you...

  • Xbox One
